Processes are what keep your team on the same page. It also gives business owners peace of mind, so they can focus on bigger things, like expanding your business. So before setting up your Roofr account, It's important to have your process built out. Do you already have a process set out? Can you write it down? If not, don't worry. You're not alone. For many businesses, processes are something that exist more so in practice than on paper. However, getting it down on paper can help you see any gaps, roadblocks, or repetitive steps that could be making your process more complicated than it needs to be. If you haven't thought about processes before, you can download our process template by Clicking the download attachment button below this video. This template allows you to write out your processes either as a PDF or by hand. We recommend that you do this before moving forward with this lesson, but it's not required. Your processes help improve your day to day operations. But it's also important to understand how they impact your bigger business goals. Clear goals help you narrow your focus and align your processes. Take a moment and think big. How would you want to see your business change with the power of software? what long term goals do you have? Where do you want your business to be in five years? Do you want to grow your team? Increase revenue? Reduce costs? Improve speed to lead? Have more time for your family? Success looks different to everyone. And goals aren't always just about money. Take some time now to look at the one pager below to write some of your goals down. Note your current business performances, if you know them. If not, that's okay too. Maybe that could be one of your goals. Think about where you want to be in 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, and 5 years. It's exciting, isn't it? Once you've got your goals and processes down, it's time to get started. Let's open up Roofr.
